Established by duo Andres Gallardo and Marina Casal in 2011, Andres Gallardo is a contemporary jewelry and accessories brand that prides itself on reviving traditional crafting techniques and using the highest quality materials with a modern and irreverent aesthetic. Crafted in Spain and Portugal by local artisans, each design is created with a meticulous eye for detail and later finished at the brand´s Madrid studio, where the metal work for the jewelry is fashioned and the pieces are mounted on gold plated brass or sterling silver. The selected run productions and unique pieces are handcrafted in collaboration with Spanish and Portuguese artisans, recovering traditional production methods, to create jewelry that is refined and whimsical. The craftsmanship is of the highest standard, evident in the care and detail when sculpting the porcelain flowers, which are hand painted and sculpted one petal at a time by artisans in Valencia, where their skills were becoming a dying art, revived by the brand. The leather in their handbags is produced in Spain, in Ubrique, a region renowned for traditional leather crafting. The leather accessories are sometimes inlaid with the brand´s signature porcelain, and crafted from the finest Vaquetilla and Napa leather.
