Collection: Claude Dumas Paris

Claude Dumas, born in Roanne in 1955, is an artist living and working in Paris. Before being appointed professor at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in 2002, he became known for his modernist design company, founded in 1983. As a designer, he presented his work at numerous international exhibitions in all over the world. Working mainly in ceramic, his homeware is notably sculptural, inspired by the 1970s art movements like conceptualism and minimalism, creating works of art out of objects we use every day, turning your kitchen shelves into an art gallery. Now, as a sculptor, he is also known for his various collaborations with other notable artists, including Georges Jeanclos and Giuseppe Penone.
