Collection: Matiere Premiere

Founder and creative perfumer Aurelien Guichard was responsible for the fragrances produced by Tagasako, Matiere Premiere is his personal perfume line consisting of six genderless fragrances.From his family organic rose farm in the Grasse region of France, on land recognised by UNESCO as intangible cultural heritage of humanity in 2018, Guichard grows Rosa Centifolia, cultivating, harvesting and supervising the quality and production of the raw material or matiere premiere that gives name to his brand. There are no added colouring agents and the natural colour can evolve without altering their quality. The brand´s philosophy is to sublimate the best nature has to offer and not tamper with the raw ingredients, allowing the idea for each fragrance to take form around an exceptional natural ingredient: coffee, vanilla labdanum, ambrettolide, rose or orange blossom, and combined to create enigmatic sensual fragrances.
