Timberland’s origins date back to 1952 in Boston, Massachusetts, in the Swartz family business, which became famous for its 6-inch boots, which went from being part of the work uniform to a streetwear classic. The model, best known for its wheat-colored nubuck leather version, earned a place in fashion history as a New York staple, seen on generations of hip-hop artists, style icons and city dwellers.
