Ceramic bowl made with the Yakishime method. A simple method where the objects are glazed with soil inside a wood fired oven. The bowl is an everyday object although the flower shape is not so common in the artist's work. It can be used as a rice bowl or for soup. Yukari Hirotani is a Japanese artist that works objects close to the everyday life. Measurements: Diameter 12.2 cm, base diameter 6.2 cm. One of a kind piece.
